Throughout his career, Bill has led collaborative initiatives connecting school districts, chambers of commerce, nonprofits, and industry partners to develop internship programs, apprenticeships, scholarship models, and workforce pipelines. As a Career and Technical Education leader in Silicon Valley, he built employer-aligned programs in partnership with global technology companies including Cisco and Juniper Networks, ensuring alignment between education systems and high-demand industry needs through strategic guidance.
In 2017, Bill transitioned from education leadership into entrepreneurship and public affairs. He co-founded ScholarPath, a technology company that developed an engagement platform supporting high school seniors in their transition to post-secondary education or the workforce, which also involved aspects of human resources consulting.
